About Ursula Boyd
Originally from Slovenia, she immigrated as a child to the United States, raised by parents who instilled a strong work ethic and education as the key to success. Her daily mottos are still: hard work works and, the way you do anything is the way you do everything.
She later studied International Business, Marketing, French and German, completing her Baccalauréat in French Civilization at the Sorbonne in Paris. It was her studies in Paris and influence and mentorship from her French professor in college, that have made this 100% Slovenian…into such a Francophile, loving all French architecture, cuisine, wines, perfumes, couture, cheeses, and that “je ne sais quoi” way of life. She is multilingual and can assist international buyers and sellers in French, Slovenian, and German.

She lived in a northern suburb of Chicago for many years, as well as the east coast of Florida, where many of her customers come from. She has an extensive background in building custom homes, design work, remodeling and staging. While she did not study interior design, having built several homes and fully remodeled many projects, she has had years of experience, and draws upon that experience in helping her customers in the selling and buying of their residences.
Ursula and her husband, a developer, relocated to Naples over 19 years ago, where they raised their four children. Family is very important to her, and they have instilled in their children the same things in preparing them for life: a strong work ethic, Faith in God, and the important of continuous education.

Ursula is a member of the Naples Area Board of Realtors, the Florida Association of REALTORS, a member of the Institute for Luxury Home Marketing, and is a member of The Who’s Who in Luxury Real Estate. Believing in continuous education, she has earned her GRI designation (Graduate, REALTOR® Institute), Certified International Property Specialist, and is a Luxury Home Marketing Specialist. In addition, she is Mastery Negotiation Certified through the Harvard Business School Online.

She is involved in local philanthropic organizations and fundraising, and especially has a passion for Habitat for Humanity. She feels that no matter how large or small…everyone deserves a home. She not only gives financially, but volunteers in building homes, when time allows. Ursula’s other passions include international travel, interior design, event planning, cooking and bringing people together. She began an International Ladies Club, which brings together ladies who enjoy travel, international foods, wine, and talking about their experiences. Food and wine around a table makes for great conversations and memories and creates meaningful relationships.

She is a believer of learning from accomplished men and women that have shaped this world through their sacrifices, defeats and successes, and two of her many favorite quotes are:

“If you can envision it, with enough desire and determination, then you can achieve it. Do anything as if there was no way to fail, and you will be surprised at how much you can achieve!”
~ Benjamin Franklin

“No one cares about how much you know, until they know about how much you care.”
~ Theodore Roosevelt
